When we ran crazy behind those fancy pay checks, little did we think

The world was at its brink

When we ate and drank bountiful, little did we imagine

When we admired the rich and played the little tricks, little did we know

When the Sun came by and the stars lit up, little did we see

The world was at its brink

When we ignored those blissful moments, little did we care

The world was at its brink

When we ridiculed and ignored our intuitions, little did we sense

When we knew our past and let is last, little did we realize

The world was at its brink

When we had a chance to make it work, little did we learn

The world was at its brink

When all of humanity is now staring into oblivion, a little we do feel
